Scary place

Global warming, terrorism, financial meltdown, swine flu, gun crime, David Branch, Conservative MP for Southwark, but it’s not all doom and gloom in the Borough. Certainly not at the Roebuck anyway. Bang Said The Gun are back with another potential raucous evening, best described as Mud Wrestling With Words. Our headliner this week is Jacob Sam La Rose, nice name, nice man and BBC London’s poet in residence. Well, it’s cheaper than renting a flat. Zena Edwards will also be performing, as well as the usual BSTG mob. So come along, everybody will be there, except John Terry that is. It’s unlikely that he will ever be let out of the house again. BSTG, The Roebuck, Thursday 4th Feb, 8pm kick off.

A whole lot of Rattling and Shaking…

If you didn’t make it down to Bang last night then you missed a whole lot of rattling and shaking from all the wonderful Gunslingers.

Liz Bentley rocked our world with an extremely funny and insightful set.
Paul Lyalls smiled a lot and seemed to sell quite a few books. I bought one. It is very good.
The World Famous Tequila Shot Open Mic went off with a Bang and Lucy Carrington is the new World Champion.

Here is the only picture of Lucy I could find – but it is more a picture of me. Lucy doesn’t have a phone or an email address – she does have a real address though.

Come On Lucy - Give it some!!!

What else happened? Martin’s live link from the jungle failed (the file was corrupt – a bit like the bloke who made it) so we will show it at next month’s Bang. Something to look forward to!

Popshot magazine came along for the crack. I think they enjoyed themselves. http://www.popshotpopshot.com/
Subscribe Gunslingers – Subscribe!!!

And just so you know – we’ve had 500 hits on our Bang Said The Gun YouTube site – keep going Gunslingers – let’s keep watching ourselves. It is almost better the second time around!
