Incoming Polarbear on Channel 4

Ok Gunslingers the time has come for the first of Bang Said The Gun’s Channel 4 Random Acts. In November the fantastic London based writer/sayer of words Polarbear was filmed performing in front of a packed out crowd at Hotel Elephant in Elephant and Castle. The event was absolutely rocking and tomorrow night the nation will get to see what can happen when one of the countries best spoken word artists takes to a stage in front of a crowd armed with milk cartons full of chick peas. Please spread the words because we need to get more stuff like this on T.V. Tune in Monday 23 (tomorrow night) at 23.05 Channel 4

Don’t miss Polarbear performing at Bang Said the Gun on Channel 4. 23.05pm 23/01/12

Mark Gwynne Jones – Master of the 5 star review

MGJ@RonnieScotts11f[1]
‘The brilliant Mark Gwynne Jones. Passionate…captivating and slightly mad, mind altering poetry’ Edinburgh Three Weeks

‘Mark Gwynne Jones should be ruined with fame and money before he shows the rest of us up for the bunch of sissies we are. But if you don’t want the truth, don’t call a poet, at least not a real one.’ Martin Newell, The Independent

‘I always stipulate that who ever is on with me hasn’t got to be any good – this one got past me – I don’t know how, but heads will roll.’
John Cooper Clarke

Check him out on January 19th… Bang is just getting better in 2012

Green top? Blue top? Red top? Just what kind of milk is Bang Said The Gun? It's a milk that tastes of words.

These would make a good patchwork quilt.

I found some flyers in my cupboard, along with all the skeletons from last years gigs.
