Some people ask me, “Dan, where did it all begin?”

Well, in the late 90’s there was a big BANG! Daniel Cockrill, Martin Galton, Sjaneke Milligan, Marcus Ahmed (Bass) and Ed Morris (harmonica + Ukulele) got together for a gig at the Wheatsheaf Pub, just round the corner from Tottenham Court Road. After a couple of gigs at the pub, the owners placed a pool table on the stage to make sure we wouldn’t come back! Then the dust settled and it took millions of years for BANG SAID THE GUN to evolve into what it is today. The Best Poetry Gig in the UK!
